First Visit: Most patients prefer to have a dental exam and a cleaning for their first visit in the absence of any dental problems. This initial appointment involves a review of past medical and dental histories; the taking of necessary x-rays, complete a comprehensive head, neck and oral cancer evaluation, complete a comprehensive dental exam, and when time permits, complete a dental prophylaxis (cleaning) by one of our amazing dental hygienists. This initial appointment may take up to 90 minutes for adults and 60 minutes for children.
